Where do you deliver?
HealthConnect Pharmacy can arrange to deliver your medications to your home, university mailbox or office, anywhere in Canada. We do not deliver to general post office boxes or community mail boxes for two reasons. 1 – Concerns for medications that require temperature control in winter and summer, and 2 – we may require a signature to ensure that you, or someone you have authorized, has received your package.
Is delivery free?
There is no charge for standard delivery in Canada for orders that are above $39.00* in value. In some instances, a small fee may be charged for ‘Rush’ or ‘Special Delivery’ orders. All orders are sent via Canada Post. If the value is less than $39.00, delivery charges will depend on the weight of the package and the city or town it is being delivered to. We can provide you with the shipping cost at the time you place your order.
*NOTE $39 is the cost before deducting what insurer pays.
Is the package discrete?
Your prescription will arrive in a plain brown bubble envelope or a small box with no indication that there is medication inside. We offer the option of having the envelope stamped CONFIDENTIAL. Please advise of any special delivery requests when ordering your medication.
How long does it take to get MyRx by mail?
Most deliveries will arrive in 3-5 days. If you live in a remote area or if weather conditions are severe, delivery may be delayed. We recommend you order refills at least 7-10 days before you run out of your current medications.
Do you track delivery?
Yes, we provide Canada Post tracking numbers with confirmation of your prescription, and we will be happy to follow up for you if you do not receive your package when expected.
What happens if I’m not home for delivery?
If your package requires a signature and you are not home, Canada Post will leave a delivery notice informing you that you have a package requiring your signature. The package will then be taken to the nearest depot, and you may pick it up there.
We obtain a signature to ensure that you, or someone you have authorized, has received your package. If you have special delivery instructions, please advise us when ordering your medication.
In the event you need someone else to sign for your package, please let us know when you place the order so we can indicate that person’s name on the shipping label. Only the person whose name appears on the label is authorized to sign for the package.
Do you deliver to the United States?
We provide mail order for people living in Canada who have prescriptions from doctors practicing in Canada. You may be able to arrange for delivery outside Canada if you are away for an extended period of time. Additional charges may apply.
What if I am planning extended travel?
We may be able to arrange delivery of your regular medication in advance of your travels so that you have enough for your trip. Please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance of your trip to make arrangements. We may need to contact your benefits provider for information on how many months your plan covers. In some instances, you may need to pay for additional medication in advance and submit your receipt to your benefits provider later.
